Tipp Supporters Club just tweeted as follows,
"Please have all the tea & sandwiches eaten in time to get to Croke Park for 1.30 on Sunday!! Our super minor hurlers need your support!"
Gospel true! Does this confirm that there is substance to all the nasty slagging they have received here over the years? For the record, I love a few sambos and tay out of the boot of the car on match day. Part of the occasion for me.

On a separate point and SLR might help me out here. Is that Paddy Verdon in the background of the tipp supporters club twitter page? In the blue jumper?

But how will ye get there? You'll hardly walk that far will you? Or are do you live somewhere like Newport which is already in Limerick and sure the Gaelic grounds is only a handy stroll from there???

All the shops in Tipp have ordered extra supplies of Calvita just to give the day a continental feel. Ye get tired of the cornbeef and turnip sandwiches Lidl have a special deal on the tin foil

You just can't 'bate the humble sandwich wrapped up in tin foil. The food of Kings.
That said I'm partial to paying for the odd point.
