Then Tipp are home and hosed already !!
Has taken a leaf ( or 2 ! ) out of Sean Og's book on the art of self promotion - a dangerous game but sure we'll see on Sunday !! My money is on a repeat of his (non) performance ) of last years AI Final ,

Well you wouldn't have much time for 'writing ' articles either if you had as many 'business ' commitments as Lar has !! The people of Tipperary should be glad that Lar was able to find time amongst all his 'business ' commitments to re- dedicate himself to the Tipperary panel !!!!

I'd put that down to whichever of the Indo's gallery of woeful GAA writers is ghostwriting it for him.

Their GAA coverage is shocking. Breheny, Keys, Cliona Foley - terrible stuff churned out on a consistent basis.
The strange thing is their football coverage is excellent. Dan McDonnell's football pieces are fairly informative.
The Cork Examiner is best for GAA coverage by a country mile. They normally have the inside story too, as they had with the Kerry job last week.

Hes embarrsing and cringeworthy at this stage ( how far offaly people have fallen where once they looked to themselves to hurl, now they are colonised by their old masters Kilkenny once again.)

The point here - Rebelrebel is how embarrassing Lar Corbett was today !! I don't think what we saw from the 2010 hurler of the year has ever been seen before and hopefully won't ever be seen again ... It's probably too early to say but you would have to imagine that Declan Ryan & Tommy Dunne have to take responsibility for his actions as well - or else they would have taken him off !! On today's performance you would have to say Tipp are 3rd or 4th in the pecking order at this point in time . What price Liam Sheedy is back at the helm for the Premier next season ?
Fair play to Kilkenny - they are undisputed champions of champions - and only Galway stand between Henry and his record 9th Celtic Cross - on todays evidence they can start that chapter in the Guinness Book of Records now ....

I can't believe some of ye miserable pr1cks on here. The man has hurled his heart out and been an utter credit to the game and entertained us all in the process. Faced with unemployment and emigration, he got off his @rse and started a business and his doing his best to succeed, and all ye keyboard warriors can do is snivel behind ye're hands and slag him off. Ye should be ashamed of yereselves. He is worth four of any of ye lot.

There are plenty of unemployed lads who would love to be given the chance to put their name over the door of a pub but wont ever get that chance because their name wouldnt attract customers. There was a thread here last week slating Eoin Cadogan and yet he has never carried on the way Lar did today. Why do you feel Lar is above criticism??

I feel anyone is above this kind of criticism. Why is his name worth a bit? Simply because through his talent, effort and dedication he has been one of the most exciting hurlers of recent times. He's not a gard or a rep. What has the man done wrong that ye should slag him off for trying to make a crust? I heve never met him, nor do I know anyone who is friendly with him. I have no axe to grind. Slag off performances or whatever floats your boat, but slagging off a lad for trying to make a living I just cannot understand, especially a lad as clearly decent as Lar Corbett.
