No they're not, they were brilliant winners that year against the best team of all time.

Add in 4 Munster and a league title and they're arguably Tipps best side in a long time.

One bad result doesn't make a bad team, as Kilkenny have shown. Tipp will be in shakeup for plenty of AI's yet.

More stupidity from cusack park.

Spot on B&A. With a change of management they will be back in the top 2 or 3 challengers next year. It really is a pity to see them go so far back since their sublime hurling of 2010, but there is definitely still a lot in this tipp team.

Fair play b&a, a touch of class to match anything that your team produced today. For supporters who have had huge pride in our team, it's a huge sickener to have something like today happen.

Agreed Ken, no one likes losing thats for sure.

Key for me is how we react to it. Some big names need to take a fair look at themselves after today.

Hopefully they do.

In the FOUR Final between the two teams there was an aggregate points difference of one.
Which by any standards you care to judge makes one entitled to consider todays game an 'aberration', and not reflective of the norm.
We'll be back; but will you be man enough to take your beating?

I just hope all these guys who are stamping on Tipp now made an awful lot of money on backing Kilkenny today. Since it was so obvious to them all that Tipp were such a bad team I'm sure they made a fortune on backing Kilkenny at around -10 on the alternative handicap.

Somehow though I'm guessing most of these guys were'nt as wise before the event.

This Tipp team aren't going to go down among the greatest of all time or anything but they are still a fine team and the only team apart from Kilkenny to win an All Ireland in the last 6 years (hopefully we'll change that next month). So they obviously deserve massive respect and they will be back. You can be sure of that.
