So now we have seen, for all the bull s**t about the munster hurling championship that when push comes to shove their provincial champions are no better then a bad junior c team and like a lot of junior c teams when all else fails they go down the filth road. how meagher didnt get the line was a joke and as for corbett we thought he was just having a brain fart with his carry on and ryan was having a bigger one by leaving him on the pitch but it seems it was some sort of tactical plan!! as if declan ryan would even know the meaning of the words tactical plan!!
At least the leinster teams can play hurling and they should give us a final to enjoy (tipp would probably have brought their filth to the final if they had got there and ruined it for the rest of the country, like the blaa's did in 08)

I honstly can't figure out this Munster/Leinster hurling me a*se crap, can't we just accept that every province has their day?

Munster has won more titles, does that mean they're the best province? No, nor does it mean that Leinster is better because there's no Munster side in the Final.

I especially can't figure out this antagonism since the inter-provincials have basically disappeared as a spectacle.

I think some people should be be asked for ID when posting on this site, some of the sh**e being spouted is juvenile at best, moronicly retarded wumness at its worst.

ah for the love of god, only in your province would ye count all irelands where teams walked off the pitch at half time, died of the scurvy and the other strange things that seemed to happen in all irelands in the first few decades of the gaa. come back and tell us how many ye have won in the last 3 decades when hurling got a small bit competitive? and 89 doesnt count we all know that the powers that be decided that tipp had to be given that one no matter what

are you telling me you have never had your hole sickened by munster people wittering about their c'ship and how wonderful it is? this year surely showed that munster hurling is not as strong as the bull s**t merchants would have us believe

Considering they have the best young players in the country, you'd expect Clare to win Munster next year...?

out sider looking in i reckon its limerick next year in munster, a young team who were very innocent against tipp this year and left it behind them. Waterford seem to be slipping, Tipp seem to be falling apart (a tipp man told me months ago they would win the all ireland when ever they felt like it!!! jesus am still laughing about that) cork are over hyped, next year might be too soon for clare but ye seem to have serious young lads coming up so 3-5 years time ye will take some stopping

Quality post, what are the odds on a Limerick and Clare Munster final? Hurling is a young man's game, and Limerick and Clare have the best young hurlers out there.

I wasn't particularly fond of it to be perfectly honest. But being from a county that regularly beats Munster sides I can take it with a pinch of salt, especially this year when the four best displays of hurling came from teams in the Leinster championship.

There'll come a time again when we won't be beating the Munster sides regularly and we'll be hearing all about it, I can assure you, and I suppose it will grate a bit. But for the moment they can have the Munster championship so long as Liam rests in Leinster (or Connaught), preferably by the Nore. When a Munster side next wins Liam, they'll have every right to claim their championship is better.

list out the leinster counties other than Kilkenny who have made an all ireland final in the last 10 years ( galway dont county - nice try though)

Cork, Tipp, Limerick, Clare and Waterford all made all ireland finals surely a better indicator of the general health of the game as against Only Kilkenny representing Leinster the 1 team province.

The Munster championship is a better championship but Leinster has the best team

Never one to miss the opportunity to throw in a silly observation in support of an absurd argument but I feel compelled to remind one that of Leinsters 49 six were won by Dublin with not a single native of Dublin starting on any of them. In fact at least 50% of these players came from Munster, so we would be well within our rights to claim three of those 6, but of course we dont want to be greedy.

Ha ha ha, it must be killing you that you can't even hang onto the Tipp coat tails and an All-Ireland will be contested by two teams from the Leinster Championship for a third time in recent memory.

All of the Munster teams you mention have been hammered in either the final or the semi final in the last few years, yes that sounds very healthy alright. I'm sure Leinster would be very competitive too if KK were lumped in there.

All your bullsh1t talk of arse licking and holes comes across as somebody with a lot of conflicting emotions and no little desperation. I hope you recover from whatever it is that is causing these freudian slips and making you so confused.

I for one have no real love of KK, I only wish we had half the quality hurlers they have and hope Galway win the AI as this new format was pushed through by the big three (or is is just the one at this stage) and favors them.

It's hard to argue with that statement.

Could posters here stop talking about Galway as if they are a Leinster team. Galway are a Connaught team and have no relevance whatsoever to this debate.

Well if all those munster teams are hammered what doest it make Offaly, wexford and all, who cant even make a bloody semi final never mind the final. Offaly no longer exists.
