Kind of sad they way one of the best hurlers of the first decade of the 21st century was utillised in such a stupid way by the Tipperary managment team. The buck stops with Declan Ryan.

it's been blown out of all proportion though lads, ok it backfired badly and I wasn't at the game but will accept the words of those who were - however as far as i'm concerned, there wouldn't have been half the talk about it if duignan didn't harp on about it for the entire second half. It wasn't actually that noticeable on tv.

It was certainly noticeable from where I was sitting in the corner of the Cusack in the second half. The most farcical thing I've ever seen on a hurling field and I've played a lot of junior hurling. GUBU hurling - Grotesque, unbelievable, bizarre and unprecedented.
