Tonight's 9pm news contained as one of the lead pieces the build up to Hurricane Isaac. The Hurricane hasn't even hit yet and you'd swear it was about to land over Dublin. Same item was the lead on the weather. Then a big piece on the Republican Party nomination a few minutes later on the main news, again this is a non-story, we know it's Romney, no big deal there. Why are we so obsessed with America, surely there are topics either of more importance or closer to home or both that we could be informed about?
