1) Maximising the potential in Kilkenny?
2) Toppling Cork from the top of the hurling records?
3) Destroying the 'superior' notions Tipperary hurlers had
with regard to Kilkenny?
4) Dominating Leinster?
5) Dominating Munster counties?
6) Providing three players to the team of the centuary 2001 - 2099?
7) Wearing the same baseball hat for 10 years plus?
8) Not missing an underage game in Kilkenny for 20 years?
9) Did not take sh*t from Marty?
10) Will not take any more sh*t from Donal O' Grady or
Loughnane?

How about influencing referees "to let the game flow" so that pushing in the back, pulling a lads jersey, pulling a lads arm as hes is handpassing or striking, and tackling with the spare hand are now not considered frees despite it saying in the rule book that they are.
And as a result of leaving the above infringments go other more serious fouls like head high tackles and frontal charges are now all the more common place.

I gave you 10 choices.....all good ones...
You are well in need of a full frontal charge yourself...

His greatest achievement is surely uniting every hurling county and every hurling supporter in their dislike for him.

Jesus, you're a sad man. It seems that every comment you've made since you've joined is about puke hurling or black marks against Kilkenny's record. Do you ever discuss your own county? You'd think that you'd be more interested in matters closer to home considering your own county is a laughing stock at the moment

I think what sets him apart is
1) His ability to keep the hunger year after year, even when the team was winning every game by 10 or 20 points. Even when they have the game wrapped up they keep hurling like their lives depend on the next ball. Never seen a team with such intensity.
2) His ability to spot a player. He knows exactly when a player's time is up, and who and when to bring new lads onto the panel.
Often he'll bring on a lad who wouldn't be an obvious candidate for the county senior team, but he sees something, and he turns them into All-Stars.
Reputations count for nothing. He never takes off a lad who is hurling well.
3) Despite Kilkenny liking to believe that yerra they just hurl away, he is very good tactically and will identify and ruthlessly expose any weaknesses in the opposition.

In regard to point 4, a half decent club team from Munster would have dominated Leinster from 2005-11. Apart from that he's a great man altogether.

And how many Club All-Irelands did any "half decent club teams" in Munster win in that time?
Come to think of it, half decent club teams from Munster is something of an oxymoron.

Munster clubs have made 2 losing appearances in the all ireland club finals duringtaht period so the best clubs from Munster can't even beat the best clubs from Leinster, Ulster or Connacht during that period.
Feed of bulmers last night face? Would you ever run down and get a blaa for yourself as the hangover will kick in soon.

The lads in Loughgiel have a lot of time for Brian who has done more for hurling in counties other than Kilkenny than you could even imagine.

When he was playing, it was like watching Brazil:

When we are all long and gone, people will talk about BRIAN CODY.
Not the greatest hurler the Village has ever produced; but the greatest clubman we have ever produced.

What about T.J. Reid in 2010 All Ireland, the only forward actually scoring...? Bizarre decision.

I hope someone gave Byrne an intensive course on who precisely Brian Cody was.
And believe me, it would have to be intensive.

I think Cody will look back at 2002 and 2006 with great pride because both years he rebuilt the spine of the team after catastrophic defeats the previous years...
