Hopefully, next Tuesdays CB meeting, delegates will stand up and be counted to over throw the latest blundering !
We are crying out for good managers and coaches at all levels. These Managers & selectors need to learn their trade by (after building a club track record) taking juvenile intercounty teams and learning and proving themselves.
We put such a system into place and give them underage teams at 14 and up, let them work their arses off for a no of years and when they they build successful teams, we take them away & replace them with parachuted candidates who want the glory. After the Anthony Carmody debacle, we learn nothing and follow on to give Joe Quaid, the most successful manager in decades a kick in the arse !
How do we repeat such mistakes !!!
As if that is not bad enough, we put in people who were at the heart of the most divisive split the county ever known and one absolute gombeen !
The wounds had healed & things were recovering brilliantly particularly at underage level and we have this bomb thrown in !
Next Tuesday's meeting should be very stormy. Can't take this lying down.
