Tried Mick Wallaces italian spot a few years ago...never again!

The parents wouldn't be as lively in the legs as yesteryear....it's a pity there isn't better eateries around the stadium

surely you don't need to be that near CP at 10.30am..go into town for gods sake and see the carry on, you've no business up around CP until near the minor match throw in unless you're on the beer and if you've elderly parents with you i imagine you won't be?.. and if the parents can't walk from town get a cab up, it wont break you...

The Cheese Pantry in Drumcondra is a decent spot, just across the road from St. Pats teacher training college AFAIR.

Full Irish for €8, bagels, omlettesd, waffles and porridge also available. And they stock an Irish red wine from a vineyard in Lusk, Co Dublin!

Bring it home tribesman. If there is any justice in this world there is only one song we will be singin tomorrow afternoon. However, unfortunatly life has nothing to do with justice. However,ye are vying for the premier position while the rest of us have been left withering and likin our wounds on the side of the road defeated once again. You get this close to the prize you got to be prepared to lay the body on the line for the county.God Bless and good luck this one is surely within the grasp. You got Jo.See JO Shine On The Big Stage Tomorrow Afternoon folks.

I normally hop on the Luas at Heuston and get off at Connolly. Nice little Cafe/Restaurant right there under the rail bridge. Full Irish, friendly staff, I always leave a tipp which is a good sign. Short walk to Croke park, straight in if I have a premium, if not, then The Red Parrot. What more do you want?

Not sure if they do breakfast but there is a new place on Dorset St. by Eccles St. junction (between Temple Street and Mater) called WJ Kavanagh's. Their sister pub L Mulligan Grocer is a great spot for some decent beers and great food - presume this new place is along the same lines.

For the replay you could do worse than the carvery at The Maples on Iona Road, usually not too packed, nice grub and only about 15min walk to stadium.
