A group of Mayo GAA fans has established a hooligan group designed to replicate the tradition of English soccer yobs. The 'Mayo Firm' also known as 'The Cults@, are currently recruiting members on the social networking website Bebo, which has over one million account holders in Ireland. Their profile picture shows fans rioting and attempting to push back a police barricade with a Mayo crest in the top left corner.
The organisation currently has 46 members, and stresses 'no girls or under 16 aloud (sic)".

How does this guy manage to post when he's got both hands up his welcoming anus?
Bebo says GAA is bad.
Let's hide in our houses til things pass over.
You absolute idiot. He's about as funny and relevant as a bad dose of herpes.
Speaking of which....

You'll have to do better than some spotty 15 year olds in fairness 90 minutes.
I quite enjoy your wind-ups usually but that is rancid bait.

I know who the lads involved are and they wouldn't bate snow off a rope. It's interesting that they cite English soccer culture as their major influence ...

just watched above link - says it all about FL/90 Minutes and their high moral ground re violence - reiterates the general stereotype of the soccer fraternity and their inherent yob culture -fckers should be sterilised

The comments are more telling than the actual video. I looked at some of the IDs ...for f**ks sake, they include wannabe "gangstas", loyalists, neo-Nazis ...
How come the apoligists for "the beautiful game" can gloss over nasty sh*t that's endemic in soccer? It really beggars belief.

Who would they fight against? The supporters of every other county would just laugh at them. I'd imagine the only action they'd get would be their fellow Mayo supporters, mortified at the thought, beating the sh*te out of them.

The funniest thing about this thread is that 90 Minutes cannot name one instance of a riot or hooliganism happening at a GAA event.
The same cannot be said regarding soccer matches where numerous riots and instances of hooliganism can be mentioned.

I hope so. I was a few years ahead of the guy who's organising this; he's well known as the Town Idiot. They claim that their enemies are Galway and Dublin supporters.
To be honest, I can see a few of them taking a hammering and the whole thing fizzling out.
