This is like a poll that a tinpot dictator would take on his own magnificence, nobody except those who `vote` yes and giving an opinion will be coming in here. The only ones likely to `vote` are cranks like you. The only people in real life I have met with an aversion to this are coffin-dodging malingering auld fellas who despise everything in life thats not out of a scene in "The Quiet Man". But I have no doubt you still think its the `majority view`, probably the same `majority view ` that decrees who is allowed to call themselves Irish and who is not. I admire your cranks resilience however.

10 years ago there was no such thing as Munster "fans" bar a few hundred hardcore lads from Limerick. Now there are loads of t0sspots like you around that need a good stuff into the face to knock some sense back into you.

Get lost, Mong Boy.

A yes or a no to the question would suffice.

However after reading your diatribe, can I ask, are you saying that if you don`t jump onto the bandwagon  (by the grace of god )  and learn off the words to the Fields of Athenry, that means your a coffin-dodging malingering auld fella? So if you don`t follow the bandwagon, there is something wrong with you? Strange.

It hardly needs repeating, but there is no-one on this board who has such a distorted argumentative `technique`. You call that a "diatribe". I mentioned the only people I have met who hold your opinion, and you pathetically try to say that I said they are all like that. Last week you said I was having a hernia defending Neil Best, when I did nothing of the sort. Your a joke.

no, he is correct.

there is no such thing as a heritage of asses following munster. shure, Clermont Auverigne have as much a right to claim a heritage as munster have.

Anyway, the english clubs could not care less about the european cup so its a null and void tournament. The Elite aren`t even taking it seriously. Munster is all a sham.

You clearly have no interest in properly debating this subject and insist on pushing your own bandwagon agenda. Now clear off sham boy and leave the debate to the adults.

I would say that real clubs in England & France must find this whole Munster thing hilarious. I`m sure that they are wise that this club didn`t even exist 10 years ago and then they turn up in the likes of the South of France with their `by the grace of god` flags taunting people who have been following real clubs for 20/30 years. You couldn`t make it up.

It`s a no for me.

The word bandwagon is used alot when discussing munster rugby and it usually is used in reference to the teams recent popularity.
But remember that rugby is not that long turned professional, the Heineken Cup and the Celtic/Magners league and young competitions.
Irish people have craved to see local teams with players that they could argue are the best in the world mixed with top players from around the world  (thats why thousands go to the premiership every weekend ) . In the past decade Muster people got that opportunity and they have supported it.

Its too easy to dismiss Munsters popularity as a bandwagon.

If ,by your own uniqueley crafted criteria, you are an "adult" who "debates", I will quite happily stay well away from your "debates"  ( whatever way that term is uniquely defined by you )  . Sure, according to you, most of us aren`t even Irish, unlike a fíorgael like you, according to your measurements. There sure is a lot of strange ones out there that this interwebby yoke has given a voice to.

funny that a successful modern day rugby team get so much abuse and have to listen to so much scutter about lacking history from a crowd who have absolutely fcuk all but history to cling to themselves whilst they yearn any kind of modern day success.

Or the "real" clubs in England & France could be jealous as heck.
Are you telling me "London Wasps" are a "real" club....

Fella who didn`t know one of an oval ball from the other 4 years ago now driving around with a couple of munster flags hanging off his car, a missus decked out in sham gear, a `by the grace of god flag` beside the bed, and a new found rivalry and hatred for Leinster, is a bandwagoner*. Most Team Munster supporters I`ve met fit into this description.

*List not exhaustive.

I`l tell you whats worse than the normal bandwagon fools..Its the mules from Leinster that go around wearing the munster jersey and that. absolute knobs from KK, Offaly and Wexford swanning around in the red of munster, but shure, why wouldn`t they says you, Its not as if they can be pulled up on it seeing as munster is only a recent thing. A bit like South Down or Fingal.

I wouldn`t say most, but there`s a fair few alright, and they are a pack of c**ts. At the same time, why not start a thread on kids going around in Chelsea, Sunderland or Newcastle jerseys? Kids are kids. it was the same when Blackburn Rovers won the league in England. Kids suddenly going about in Blackburn tops...
It`s the parents I`d be worried about though...
