Faughs have won Dublin 31 times but 25 of those were prior to 1952. Vincents have won 13 since 1953. UCD have won three this decade despite not entering the in 2008 and 2007. They`re entering next year though.

Mount Sion have 35, surely no one has more than that. They have 5 football titles too I think

Thurles Sarsfields have 28 titles. Other clubs to top the County lists are Laois - Camross, Wexford - Rathnure. Wicklow - Carnew, Kerry - Kilmoyley, Antrim - Ballycastle, Down - Kilclief. Mount Sion have more Senior Hurling titles than any other club. In football, Crossmaglen Rangers and Castleblaney Faughs both have 37 titles.

Not sure if these stats make much sense in some counties.

In ours for example....
Tulloroan lead KK with 20 titles but only 1 title in the last 50 years  (1994 )
Bennetsbridge  (1 title in last 40 years -1971 )  & Mooncoin  (1 title in last 70 years - 1965 )  are joint second.
That`s a top three of , 1 junior, 1 intermediate & 1 middling senior club in today`s money!

All of Mount Sions titles have come in the last 70 or so years ,as the club was founded in the 30s

true yeah Howya but....
Erins Own are second in Waterford senior list with 13 titles, one in 60 years  ( & even that back in 1962 ) .
A poor intermediate outfit with last decade or more, see what I mean?

Say it aint so? ... thought the SHc has been a breath of fresh air without them, open enough this year, Boden really got out of jail v Vins and who knows if Vins would`ve gone on to win it out. Would be very disappointed to see UCD back unless they name a panel at the start of the year and have to stick to it.

Ballyhale Shamrocks have won 12 Senior titles in Kilkenny in the past 30 years, thats a more standout achievement in todays terms compared with Tullaroan who have only won 8 in the last 93 years.

I don`t know what othes think but I would be of the opinion that UCD shouldn`t be allowed to take part in the club c`ship. Same applies to UCC who occassionally compete in Cork. All of their players are representing other clubs already and what would happen on the occurence that a player lining out for UCD say were drawn to play against a certain players home club. Who does the person in question play for. I`m aware of the fact that if a player has a scholarship then the college has 1st refusal but how could you turn out against your own club?
How far behind Thurles are Toome?

In Antrim Ballycastle lead the way, closely followed by Loughgiel & Rossa. Dunloy have won 10 with their first in 1990 & Cushendall have won 11 since 1981. Since Dunloy won their first in 1990 themselves & Cushendall are the only Clubs to win the Antrim championship bar Rossa in 2004.
