Has anybody a count on how many times this lad has been sent off in his hurling career? I think his brother Rory used to be the full back and saw the line on a few occassions.

A few!!!Quite a few times alright. He was hardier than Eoin and not half as cowardly. Very much in the mould of Mick Lyons in football terms for Meath. Eoin gets sent off on average once a year i`d say.

he gave a interview prior to a Munster club final  ( after getting Man of the Match in semi final )  against Mt Sion. He really blew himself up to be ready for Ken McGrath. He marked Ken at midfield but it turned out to be a lesson and the pupil was not McGrath. Toom won the match but but you would think the experience would have humbled Brislane. I don`t think he even wanted to risk trying to bully Ken Mc that day.
