Munster always take Coonacht Players and put them on the bench, like Warwick.

Always? How many have they taken? Not many. I think flannerys from galway isnt he? But he doesnt be on the bench. And im sure theres an ex munster player r 2 that hav gone and played for connacht, not any of munsters best players in fairness (like warwick was for con )  but im sure deyll be good players for con.

Flannery is Limerick born and bred. Family pub on Catherine St.

Fairly sure he`s from galway and played for connacht. And i thought he only bought that pub a few years ago?

He now owns Flannerys in Denmark St. His Father  (Jerry Sr. )  has had the pub in Catherine St. for donkeys `though I`m not too sure who`s running it at the moment as Jerry Sr. is quite unwell. Jerry Sr. comes from a well known family of publicans in Limerick  (also one pub in Caherconlish and one in Dublin )  and originally hails from Annacotty just outside the city.

sorry, meant to add that you are quite correct about him playing for Connaught, he started his professional career there  (2 seasons )  before moving back home.

If so, I stand corrected and do apologise but as far as the family history is concerned, I`m fairly certain. It`s possible he was born in Galway though it would surprise me. He certainly went to school in Limerick but did move to Galway to start his rugby career. Anyone else have further details?
