its never 2 early!
Teams looks ok but P.McNamara. .i wouldn`t play him there what about movin him in F.F and breen out to 15.
Breen can pick the ball up the is well able to get past his marker. .But needs some more shooting. .

looks like it is going to be an awful short year for wexford this year in both hurling and football!
the footballers last year did so well but aren`t going well at all this year and the hurlers have made the leinster final in hurling for the last i don`t no how many years!it was kind of a given that we were going to make the leinster final if we avoided offaly and kilkenny!but the dubs deserved it this year and i suppose in a way were unlucky in the last 2 years!
limerick were some unlucky not to beat waterford the first day didn`t see the replay but hard luck to ya`s!well you never know what team will turn up with the wexford team as they have pulled off some shock results in there time just a few off the top of my head beating kilkenny (leinster semi ) , tipp (in the all-ireland quarter final ) , running waterford close last year in the quarter final, cork a few year back in the all ireland semi i think where it went to a replay!but then you have the other wexford team who get beaten by antrim, hammered by kilkenny nearly every year in the leinster final!
i think limerick are a very good side and i can`t see how we will beat them!but you never know!
don`t think many will travel to the game!its very far from limerick to wexford but then again you never know!
many people on hear going to it??

On what basis can you not see how Wexford could beat Limerick. I`d imagine that not that many folk from Lim would be coming to Wexford cock-sure of a victory. There is very little to call between these two teams. It could well just be a puck of the ball between them.
Wexford need goals to win games as they just don`t score enough points to win championship matches. If Banville can catch fire again or some of the corner forwards chip in with a goal or two, I can see Wexford winning this one. Either way it will be very close.
Don`t get too down about Wexford hurling. There was no shame in losing to Dublin yesterday. They are a very good team and deserve to be in a Leinster final.

Not sure if I`ll make it to Wexford. May well do as I`m sure the support will be needed. Wexford must be favourites for this, even with yer injury problems. We have a terrible record in the qualifiers and against Leinster teams in particular of course. I wouldn`t be going there in expectation of winning but if we put up a spirited performance for the full 70 minutes and come away with a few positives regarding our younger players, I`ll be happy.

They`re be no one in Limerick cock-sure. The back door has been nothing short of a disaster for Limerick, particularly against Leinster opposition. Wexford will be going in, fairly strong favorites and with home advantage. Limerick are similar to Wexford in that they need to score goals to win games.

I actually think that this could be an interesting game. I don`t think that either of these teams are a million miles away from getting it right.
Two hardy sets of backs and two sets of forwards that are beginning to develop. I think that the winner of this game could have an extended run to the semi finals.

do we know yet who the winner of this match will be playing?
or has it still to be decided?
yea i think the championship is wide open at this stage of the year!
sure wexford last year should of beaten waterford and would of been in the semi after a poor enough leinster campaign!

It is an draw from the 2 winners of phase 1 to play either of the winners of phase 2 i.e. winners of Lim/Wex cant meet winners of Clare/Galway

Like against Offaly last year?
Heading down, can`t wait to go as I`ve never been to Wexford Park before (never really been to Wexford much either to be honest apart from Rosslare! ) , kinda dreading the long journey back up if we lose though.
I`m hoping to see a few changes made particularly in the forwards. My team`d be
Murray
Reale
Lucey
Riordan
Moloney
Geary
O`Mahoney/Foley (Foley`s is a great player, but I think with Geary`s style of play you need O`Mahoney in there )
Dodge
Hickey
Ryan
Moran
Wayne Mac
Shaughs
Paudie Mac
Breen

stamp is back training and hopefully keith rossiter will be fit enough to play after being out for so long!
wexford to limerick is a far drive!but wexford park is a nice park just on the outskirts of the town!parking is very bad no parking is beside the park but i`m sure they will open up near by schools for parking like they did against offaly!
wexford park has a big enough pitch and will suit a team who are fast and fit!

does it really matter when he is fit again he is useless and doesn`t deserve to be playing on the team at all!

We`re hoping that Mike Fitz will be fit again. He can pick off a few handy scores. Lopper, would you not leave Wayne Mc on the bench?

If Mike Fitz is fit, then I`d definitely have him in there. I think Wayne Mac gets some unfair stick at times, even from me. There`s great determination and potential there, and when the half-forward line goes asleep (as ours tends to do from time to time, I think Wayne`s a great man to have there to win ball.
That said there are better natural hurlers there at the moment that could take that spot: Tobin or Browne at this stage look like the most likely candidates. Justin seems to have something against Tobin though.

if tipp win de munster final limerick cant play waterford in de all ireland Q/F therfore limerick wud hav to play dublin in their all ireland Q/F. This wud happen if laois beat antrim nd if limerick beat wexford den limerick nd laois wud meet in phase 3 of de qualifers. this is because galway nd laois cant meet again. can anyone verify this please??

I wouldn`t blame him, he didn`t ven get on as a sub for 5 mins on either game. Was always worth a score or two

That`s terrible news. While I wouldn`t start him, he is a very good impact sub to bring on, maybe for the last 20 mins or so. He really should have been given an opportunity in one of the previous games.

I agree with you re-O`Mahoney. I heard the other night that he was mightily pssed off because he did not get a run against Waterford. Hard not to blame him really.
I would not put Wayne Mac near the forwards. He did play there a couple of times during the league and was a disaster. With respect to him the barn door is a challenge he will not rise up to. However as a back he would break the heart of any forward he was marking. He sticks to you and hassles and upsets without resorting to dirty tactics.
I would also move Shaughs out to the half forwards and have Breen out there as well. SLR said a few weeks ago that he does not win dirty ball and I watched him in Thurles. He did not win any dirty ball and I wonder would he be better out further where he would get clean ball delivered?
