Presume it means if somebody starts a thread in the wrong section it gets transfered. Like if someone starts a rugby thread under the GAA Topic heading instead of the Other Sports Topics.Housekeeping by the boss man as such..

Is this the reason for locking the taxman discussion? AFR quoted "a number of reasons", can AFR publish these reason just so I understand it fully.

Breach of copyright is not the reason. Please be sensible. We`ve made a decision for good reasons, in the interests of the forum. We have to be given a bit of trust and leeway to do that, without having to give a big public explanation. Public explanations of why particular Topics have been locked or delete d are - self evidently - counter productive.

Again I ask under what rules mentioned above was turfcutter banned. You can delete this ever time it’s posted and I will re register again and ask the same question funny enough I don’t notice the membership going down really you should subtract those banned users from those you have registered or would it upset the sponsors.
Do you just ban user that may disagree with you.
Lads after all the banning I don’t see the user numbers going down bet the advertisers wouldn’t like to see the numbers going down. I wonder how long this post will be left up

Info@anfearrua.com & leave it at that then ok?
It`s AFRs Website & if you don`t like it go elsewhere is my advice.
There are other GAA Fora that would welcome members such as yourself.
I have any time such an issue arises raised & I do so again, recommended a payment (once-off or annual maybe? ) of a nominal figure to sort the wheat from the chaff.
I`m talking a Fiver or a Tener.
IF all 9.321 (& counting ) members were to do that it might help Mr.AFR defray any Legal Issues such as Libel/Defamation that arise from Posters who toss-around untruths in a bid to support arguments.

I would like to echo the above comments.
There are other options such as, for you convience alone, all alone.... by the wave washed strand...all alone in the crowded hall... but I digress.

It seems the line between what's plain fact and what's not allowed is pretty thin just seeing the way some threads have gone the last while. Pointing out fact is prohibited in some situations which it shouldn't be; in others, the problem arises when opinions go too far in commenting on a situation of fact.
Tough line to draw, it seems caution is the side to err on. Feels unfair sometimes and posters can feel hard done by but when you consider who's going to be left holding the can it's probably a fair approach.
