Limerick IT v Waterford IT @ Limerick.
Ref: Jason O`Mahony (Limerick )
of all the matchs that clown could be given this is the one they choose with 5 players from the team he shafted on the lit side.

He has a very good point. This referee has history,,and if he brings the same umpires, he may not get out of LIT alive!

Clare`s whinging really knows no bounds. Dare you criticize one of their players (Honan ) or suggest that they might move on from un u21 game from 2008......

This individual should never be allowed to ref another game again after what happened in Ennis that night. Its disgraceful.

Ah lads, build a bridge in fairness. Most of the team came out and won their all ireland this year. These things happen, theres no point in being be bitter to the end,it may be best to just move on because it seems to me like the players have.
Should be a good game although its hard to see waterford winning they seem a little short in quality.Anyway if you`re convinced this referee prefers his tipperary to his Clare then fear not for LIT`s health as i`m sure he`ll give any frees to timmy dalton and Seamas Callinan that aren`t going to the Clare lads.
There should be a swear box system set up on this site for anyone who mentions the referee in the 2008 munster u21 Final or last year`s Senior Final!

it was an outrageous call and it cost the munster council at least one excellent referee who got what he considered to be a very high handed dismissive response when he queried the issue.
puts the other boll1x under a lot of pressure as well and leaves him open to serious hassle if a big call goes against lit.

This is embarrasing lads, you`d swear we were the first county ever to suffer by an awful refereeing decision. FFS, ye`ll just giving the Tipp lads licence to p****z and moan about the Kirwan penalty for the next few decades

What was so outrageous about the call??? The goalie repeatedly went outside the square when pucking out the ball, he was pulled earlier in the game and continued to do it. It would only have been an outrageous call if it was actually wrong, which it wasn`t.
The fact that you feel that the man could be in danger of assault if things don`t go right in the match suggests that some of the players that will be playing aren`t up to much. Personally, I don`t believe that any of them would do anything of the sort, I`m sure that they are decent lads who know that sometimes things go against you, but you cannot go around assaulting people as a result.

Will you ever get over it you bitter man. I`m sure no-one else gives a rats ass about the fact that he is reffing the game. I`m sure you might toddle along and give him some abuse though.

I`m pretty sure he has reffed games since that one in Ennis. Probably slipped by you though.

It was his umpire that was to blame that night, he couldn`t exactly ignore him after he put up his hand.
Anyhow you don`t have to worry about it anymore as a new rule has been brought in for that now. Basically if a goalie pucks out the ball & steps outside the square & if the ref doesn`t see the umpire raising his hand by the time the puck out hits the ground (or is caught ) , the game continues.

there is nothing wrong with the rule so long as it is applied in every game. a modification like the one above is totally stupid
the problem, with the tuohy incident was that it is far from clear cut as to whether he actually committed the foul in the first place. the footage to say the least is indecisive and how the umpire at that side who was replacing the flag when tuohy was in the process of hitting the puck out saw it clearly enough to decide a munster under 21 final on it is a mystery

are you from the joe duffy show by any chance or is it simply your daily dose of `oirish` newspapers that has you on this hysteria drive?
how do you translate hassle into assault
