Im split down the middle between the two. Both are epic films.

The most amazing thing about Goodfellas is that its a true story! A while back TG4 had those gangster documentaries and Henry Hill was interviewed at length. He`s as old as the hills now but his language is just as bad.
Watch out for the state attorney who offers him the witness protection programme - its not an actor - its the actual state attorney who dealt with Henry Hill in real life and was also interviewd for the documentary.
Surely one of the best films ever made.

Doesn`t matter how often you see it, still a classic.

Conway died of cancer in prison in 96 or 97. Henry Hill is the only man left who`s still alive and kicking. I couldn`t believe the film was a true story when I saw it first

As far as I know he`s dead. I dont think Henry Hill could have actually been in the documentary if any of the guys he`d ratted on were still alive. Its funny but he`s still as childish as ever, and funny, and he uses much more foul language in real life than Ray Liotta used in the film - every second word Hill says is fcuk!

Check up the Wikipedia page on Jimmy Burke, a really nasty piece of work in real life, "Jimmy the Gent", they couldn`t use the name Burke in the film, because the family demanded a lot of money to let them use it.
Also unbelievably, Pesci`s character was more a psycho than Pesci portrayed him as well. I think think his real name was Simone or something similar.

Just reading it there, named his 2 sons Frank James & Jesse James. He rang Robert De Niro from prison to give him a few tips on the role. As you say a nasty piece of work
