There seems to be alot more cars being pulled over by squad cars on the road, within the last week I`ve been pulled over twice for just some random checks. The last time I was pulled over was well over two years ago. Plus from
today and yestodays trip to Nenagh I`ve seen Six cars being pulled by the coppers. Anyone else notice this?

You hardly think you are going to get a gold star here for telling us that.

you fool i hope you lose your licence for ten years not that you deserve one, of course you`ll just end up crashing into some decent person and leave them footing the bill for any damage, do us a favour and hit a wall altogether

As I heard on the Eamonn Lowe show about the Gardai having a fondness for using the auld speed guns on roads with inappropriately low speed limits - "for an unarmed police force they sure like shootin` fish in a barrel"

this is a joke, happening all over the place.

new motorways built, then the old roads` speed limits are reduced. forcing people onto the motorways and paying a toll, or being caught by gardai for just doing 60 mph while avoiding the motorway

Not just old roads either - you should see the outer ring road in Waterford. 11km of dual carriageway with a median barrier. Speed limit is 60km and is haunted by gardaí with hair-dryers. No fear on them policing roads where the accidents actually happen.

Paddy`s Day is coming up. Im sure part of it is to put into the mind of drivers that there`s a fair chance they`ll be caught if they drink and drive
