Suggestions for the club with the longest continuous sequence of senior county titles, hurling and football? Give the years, if possible.

According to Wikipedia, Burt have won club hurling titles from 1991-2005 inclusive. That`s not a bad run?

A unique achievement from Ahane was to win both the senior hurling and football titles for five years in a row from 1935 to 1939.

I think Cavan has 8 hurling clubs. Definitely 6, I`m fairly sure only 3 contest the senior championship.

And from looking at old match reports, it seems that they were often missing hurlers for football games in the 40`s.
Does that mean that football matches were deliberately clashed with county commitments to get at Ahane?

There are only two hurling clubs in Cavan at adult level. There would have been a max of four at one stage maybe ten years ago.
Hurling in Cavan would be a lot weaker than football in Kilkenny.

For the past seven or eight years, the `senior hurling championship` has been just one match between Woodford Gaels and Mullahoran.
Usually most of the good Mullahoran fellas, a few of whom play football for Cavan, wouldn`t play it as it`d clash with football.
They still win it by about 20 points usually.
There is no intermediate, junior or minor championship.
Although they should have a minor soon, have had u14 and u16 in recent years.
EDIT: I`m wrong actually about the two clubs for last ten years, Ballymachugh had a team for a couple of years as well.

There was a lot done by the County Board at that time to get at Ahane. They won 15 Co. Senior Hurling Titles between 1931 and 1948 which included two 7 in-a-rows and football titles for five years in a row
