Maybe if he didnt treat the GAA journalists like s**e when they travel down for the pre All Ireland press gatherings he would get a better press.

It does seem as if the media are biased against Kerry in fairness.

In fairness my arse,

If Galvin and O Se werent acting the thug they would be playing Sunday.
What do you want ?

The media to ignore them just because they are Kerry players.

In fairness they could have a point O`Se and Galvin fully deserved their suspensions ,however Liam Watson did something far worse on Sunday and there hasnt been a word about it from the CCCC.there needs tobe consistency in the application of the rules

To be fair you can understand their frustration when other incidents do not receive the same profile as the ones their players are involved in. However if I was Jack O`Connor I`d be keeping my trap shut because they are not victims. If they weren`t behaving in such a way they would have no case to answer for. Simple as that. Behave well and there will be no hassle. Seems Kerry think they should be above the law in some regards!

in fairness kerry dont really care who likes them or not, life is far too short for anybody in kerry to give a toss about what either the media or some moron`s on internet sites think about the kingdom.
as for the game , kerry will beat down by at least 6 points, but it could go over 10 , kerry will make it to there 7th final in a row this year, rest assured of that : )

He does have a point in that incidents as bad or worse than the Galvin and Ó Sé incidents involving players from other counties were completely glossed over by the media.
However at the same time you have to expect Kerry players to get more of a media spotlight like you`d see in any sport i.e. a Man Utd player is going to get more media exposure for a red compared to a Grimsby player doing something far worse

what do u suggest kerry do???

Jack to take a leaf out of Cork`s book in how their manager`s deal with the media. I dont think so a recent cork senior manager grabbing the examiner journalist tape recorder and shoving it down his pants. Thats some way to treat journalists.

Very articulate, but sure what can you expect from a bird brain!
Come on the Kingdom and lets set our record books straight tomorrow! Remember Joe Lennon in his coaching book in 1969, saying Kerry would never win an All Ireland for next twenty years! Lucky that fella wasn`t a bookie.
And yes I feel that Kerry never get the credit they deserve in the national media, especially compared with Kilkenny, despite the fact their record in last ten years has been incredible.

I didnt have an issue with the Tomas O`Se ban or Paul Galvin ban initially.

However as the weekends and games went by there were several incidents that went unpunished. How come the sunday game panel didnt see fit to highlight the aisake poking at the teapot incident and the touch of a headbutt v waterford?? It was mentioned at half time but not later that night. How did Eamon O`Hara escape a ban?? Was tomas waters from wexford suspended arising out of the incident against Tipp?? I think he might have been. actually can anyone post a list of players suspended retrospectively by the CCCC this year??

Paul Galvin was described as a corner boy by a sunday game panelist a year or two ago because he was involved in some many incidents. Is anyone highlighting Eoin Cadogan`s involvement in incidents across both codes every 2nd game in the same way??

All in all i think Jack should have left it out though. At the end of the day it is the CCCC hand out the bans not the media. If he wants to have a cut then have it off them not the media.

also, i regret to say as a kerryman, can we really complain after the carry on of kenneally with his book last year. there was bound to be some kickback in a negative way after that. karma and all that

i think u may be a secret admirer of the bomber and weeshie behind it alL!!! for a man that cant stand what they come out with you spend a remarkable amount of time listening to them and reading their articles.
