Mills v Killaloe & Scariff v Broadford on this Saturday.
Crusheen v Josephs on this Sunday.
Remainder of the games on the weekend after the all-ireland so no exact days or times out yet.

Correct Peg, Mills qualify, Tulla need to beat Whitegate to bring scoring difference into play for the relegation play off place. Patrick Aherne was taken away in an ambulance with a broken leg for SOB.

Don`t think so Half. SOB have a far inferior points difference to either Tulla or `Gate. By my reckoning any win for Tulla will put SOB into the relegation sf, bar a victory of 20ish points which would put W`gate there.

3-14 to 1-7. Poor game, Gerry O`Grady scored 2 goals, one scored early in either half and they were the crucial scores. I was disappointed in Jospehs, they were poor. We weren`t outstnading, backs played well, Dillons were good, Pat Vaughan very good and Gerry O`Grady and Conor O`Donnell did alot of damage up front but overall it was such a bad game you couldnt really tell much from it as reagrd our chances going forward while Josephs will look back at the Clon game (as will Crusheen ) and rue a missed opportunity i feel.
One word for Cian Dillon, played centre back, i couldnt describe how good he was, immense in the air and tidy throughout. There were flashes of him filling the 6 jersey for Clare but its hard to tell in this game. His high fielding was pretty special.

Sorry Jim, forgot about SOB, was only looking at Whitegate comparison. Any kind of win will do and SOB go off fighting relegation.

bit of controversy at the finish of this one i believe. dodgy goal from the killaloe perspective while the mills will feel it was a tight call that went their way from my infoo

correct from what i have been told and of course the result stands.
unfortunately for s ob tulla seem in much better form than whitegate at present so they should win that.

Yeah ,
a Tulla win against Whitegate , whose form has tailed off dramatically , would see the three teams tied on two ponts each and Sm O`B`s have by far the worst scoring ave/diff of the three .
The battle to avoid relegation could be quite fierce this year with Broadford , quite possibly Tones or the losers of Inagh v Tubber , and Ballyea or Corofin all in the mix .

Why do they feel it`s necessary to know the identity of all eight teams before they can carry out the draw ?
It could just have easily been done at last night`s county board meeting by drawing various group winners v runner-ups e.g. wnr Gp 1 v ru Gp2 , etc.
