Peter Casey the development officer also involved with lisdoonvarna, great coach from what I hear. Also I heard he`s a sound man too.
You could have a great coach and \\ team and win nothing and vice versa.
Colin Lynch - great trainer.

Said it before but the Clooney Rebel  (Corkman )  came down to us on and off last year. Took sessions with Senior, Minor, and underage team. Even took camogie team one night when they had a problem.

Everyone had nothing but good to say. Variety, intensity, clarity and great communicator. Oh sense of humour too. Couldn`t give us the commitment this year, unfortunately,

Just cannot believe his own Club have no role for him.

He never took a payment either from us even though we offered petrol money.

Keyes is good alright, Tones senior hurling manager  (Johnny Markham )  is a very good coach, have seen him a few times doing sessions with teams in the club. Saw him doing few sessions with another club also. Very good variety in his sessions

I don`t put ordinary Joe`s names up on websites, Sorry. Anybody from Clooneyquin should be able to help you out. Lives in Clooney side, was over under16 team few years ago. That should get you his name.

Callin to him Sat actually, will ask him for future ref if i can name him. He has one hell of a library of drills.

How to set them up, vary them, how long to do them, how long to rest between them.

But, maybe I shouldn`t have put him on this thread, he must be about 40.

The two Hanley brothers that trained the Clare Junior Camogie to win the All Ireland.

Jesus with them, Patsy Keyes and Johnny Markham how are Shannon so bad? Too many chiefs and not enough Indians??

Cunningham with team in Tipp, McIntyre with Ballyea, O`Rourke with ClooneyQuinn and not sure about McAllen. Better coaches with other clubs, heard Johnny Markham has been approached and considering a role with another club for next yr.

We love our traditional music but we love our Hurling as well, may be Peter Casey is going along these lines ...

What Clare needs is more lads like him to bring Hurling to the football area`s and visa versa with the football ....

Cunningham with U8s Club Minors and who are still in competition. McAllen with U14s who were bets Clare team in Feile this year. Rourke with 12s, and McIntyre with Camogie 14s who lost All Ireland, while hanleys were over 21b who won title , so while they may be with outside clubs they are all still helping inside.

Markham I believe may be waiting to see how players treat Sixmilebridge game and possibly Senior B. If players treat these seriously he may be interested in doing another year.

Despite annual hope of winning a championship, if Tones year won Senior B, having already won promotion to Clare Cup top tier, and U21B, and maybe minor B, it would actually be a good year with a few young lads to build with again

the proposed new format for the underage structures could completely overhaul club coaching in the county if it is done properly
