Is it a Man? ... Is it a Plane?... No! It's Underdog!!
Release the Dogs of Football: Now playing ... at a football stadiium near you ...
Underdogs Final Match against the Dubs takes on December 14th in Parnell Park at 2pm.
TG4 and Adare Production claim that this will be the Match of the Year and 'it will be a terrible sin' not to be there. A sin like that will only receive forgiveness by confessing to the Archbishop himself in the Pro-Cathedral and hopping up and down Marlborough Street on one leg, while reciting a decade of the Sorrowful Mysteries
as Gaeilge
.
Just to let everyone know who's been following the programme: In the next three weeks you will see the Underdogs / Fomhaidrí Team beat the Westmeath Under 21s by 2 points, the Kildare Under 21s by 7 points and they have just recorded their biggest win so far by beating the Wexford Senior Team by 5 points last Sunday.
So, the Underdogs have a chance - and a very good chance indeed - of upsetting the pundits and beating the Dubs on the 14th. The tickets are fairly priced and the occasion will be one to be remembered for many years to come. Oul Super Dub Himself, An Taoiseach, De Man Dey Call Ahern, will throw in the ball.
Don't miss it ... Underdogs on TG4 .. Every Sunday night at 8.20pm .. Repeated every Monday night ... Check out Ticketmaster for your tickets ... An early Christmas Present on its way for the Dubs? A P45 in his Christmas stocking for Tommy Lyons?
