Teams required for research into high-intensity training specific to Gaelic football and hurling.
The Centre for Exercise & Metabolic Science (CEMS) at ITT Dublin is investigating the impact of high-intensity training on match performance. The research aims to quantify the impact of high-intensity training on the fitness and match performance for Gaelic football and hurling. We are currently recruiting for this study and would be very grateful if you and your team are able to assist by volunteering to participate. We are looking for males aged between 18-40 who train regularly. We require two Gaelic football and two hurling teams. The team must be located in the Dublin or commuter area. Teams will receive FREE sports science support for the year and pre-season conditioning from an expert in the field for eight weeks.
